Authorization for the Processing of Images, Audiovisual Material, and Personal Data

Within the framework of the 6th International Congress on Research and Innovation in Food Engineering, Science, and Technology, organized by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (ICTA) of the National University of Colombia, participants are hereby informed that images, photographs, and audiovisual recordings will be captured during the event for academic, institutional, research, informational, educational, and scientific dissemination purposes.

By participating in the event, attendees grant their prior, explicit, informed, and voluntary authorization to the National University of Colombia, in its capacity as the data controller, to collect, store, use, circulate, reproduce, publish, communicate, and disseminate such material through physical, digital, institutional, and academic media, on a non-profit basis.

The processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 and the Personal Data Processing Policy adopted through Rector’s Resolution No. 207 of 2021, ensuring the confidentiality, security, integrity, and proper use of the information.

Data subjects may exercise their rights to access, update, rectify, delete their personal data, and revoke this authorization by submitting a written request to the institutional email address: protecciondedatos@unal.edu.co.

Participation in the event implies the express acceptance of the terms set forth herein.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All individuals interested in participating in the Congress (with an oral presentation or poster presentation) must register and pay the corresponding registration fee. Registration will not be confirmed until the Organizing Committee has received the full registration payment. To register, please complete the online registration form.

All registration cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent to the Congress Organizing Committee by email to infoiicta2026_bog@unal.edu.co.

Cancellations received on or before August 31, 2026, will be eligible for a 100% refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. Registration cancellations received after August 31, 2026, will not be accepted.

Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed within three months after the Congress. The registration fee paid is non-refundable after the stated deadline under any circumstances, including failure to obtain a visa. Registration is non-transferable under any circumstances.
